About the role
This role is known for administering and configuring changes across the Salesforce platform such as dataflow, customisation and dynamic layouts across the international sales function. Driving up utilisation by process definition and mapping to enhance functionality, enabling sales users and the business to maximise Salesforce and all its functionality.
A Day in the Life:
Bridges the gap between sales, innovation and technology. Works with multiple departments across the globe. Especially with the Salesforce Manager in the US and the Global Snr Salesforce IT Administrator.
What You’ll Do:
PLATFORM MANAGEMENT
Manages the day-to-day maintenance of Salesforce making sure functionality and data flows are running at its optimum. Modifies various objects, roles, or record-sharing rules, dynamic layouts to reflect any organisation and process changes to comply with internal business rules.
USER CONTROL & AUDIT
Responsible for user adoption, activation, deactivation. Assigning the correct profiles, permission sets and territories to international sales teams. Enables the sales team to be internally compliant through the introduction of mandatory fields, process mapping and flows.
PROBLEM SOLVING
Is the first point of contact for super users to escalate systems issues to. Owns the resolution of sales issues from start to finish through a stringent IT process.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
Produces training documentation and leads training sessions for new functionality releases, along with process flows. Attends Salesforce hosted events and training sessions to further knowledge and see in advance what future sales cloud releases are coming each quarter.
SALESFORCE CONFIGURATION
Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions that drives exceptional user experience. Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders to apply change.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Leads, defines and delivers requirements for business needs. Provides technical and robust solutions for automation within the sales cloud. Ensures workflow rules and processes are constantly improved.
DATA PROTECTION & COMPLIANCE
Full internal and external legal compliance and protection of both Hertz and customer data.
What We’re Looking For:
1-2 years Salesforce experience in a similar role with proven results desirable
IT literate & adaptable across various platforms including Microsoft Office
Strong Mathematical and analytical skills
Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
Proactive with a can-do, positive attitude
Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems
Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
