Business Analyst

We are currently recruiting for the position of Business Analyst to join our busy team in New Ross, Co. Wexford.

This is a new growth driven role to add to our existing team of professionals who provide support to a growing business, with customer bases in Ireland, the UK and across Europe. The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team in a busy office environment.

Reporting to the Credit Control Manager you will be responsible for the following duties;

Processing of credit applications on a daily basis.

Preparing a set of daily, weekly & monthly assigned reports.

Highlighting trends from data analysis and making recommendations.

Assisting in the digitalisation / automation of the reporting function through Power BI

Assist in building dashboards in Power BI displaying KPIs for senior management

Maintaining the integrity of data sets ensuring completeness and accuracy.

Providing holiday cover for other positions as needed

The ideal candidate will have;

Third level degree in any of the following disciplines - business management, accounting or relevant field.

Should be able to demonstrate mastery of Excel analysis tools.

Strong ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to projects.

Ability to assimilate large volumes of information and make decisions based on same.

Analytical mindset with a focus on problem solving.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.

Strong ability to work independently and achieve deadlines.

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with other teams.

Power BI / AI / Digitalisation experience would be an advantage

Full training on systems and mentoring provided to the successful candidate.

This is a full-time permanent role with office hours Monday to Friday.
