Your Day on a Page:
The Baytree by Ardency is a premium retirement Resort located in Greenwich that has paved the way for a unique retirement experience which combines the very best in independent living with the premium amenities you would expect from a boutique hotel.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Concierge to join our dynamic team on a Casual basis.
Our Concierge is the go-to person for our residents, who is a vital part in the smooth operation of the resort. The successful candidate, will therefore be required to assist in various areas of the resort and restaurant, having more of a hands-on approach.
Reporting to the Assistant Resort Manager, you will be tasked undertaking a variety of concierge duties and responsibilities including:
Providing a high level of customer service to our residents and guests
Responding to resident and guest enquiries and requests
Delivery of resident packages and room service meal
Drive our 6-seater resident van
Set up and pack down of resident activities
Assisting with production of weekly newsletter and monthly journals
General administrative tasks
Contractor management including inductions
Assisting the restaurant team when required
Ensuring that a premium level of customer service is provided to our residents in every interaction.
About You:
You will ideally have a background in hospitality or customer service, have experience working in a reception, concierge or administration role. The successful candidate will also require the following:
Administration and demonstrated customer service experience
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to pick up new systems
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse community
Exceptional interpersonal skills with an approachable personality that helps build trust and rapport with residents, families, and team members
Demonstrates outstanding personal presentation and reliability
Have a passionate and customer- focused approach with a can-do and proactive attitude
Willingness to learn and professionally develop
Hold a valid Australian Drivers’ Licence
Have a current First Aid and CPR certificates (or be willing to obtain)
Have a current RSA (or be willing to obtain)
