Description:

The Role

Based in our warehouse at Lithgow and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position is responsible for completing picking and packing of orders to customers requirements. This role requires an adhereance to work processes, ability to work in a team, and manual labour with heavy lifting. A consistent focus on accuracy and safety is a must. Position holders are expected to attain and maintain a forklift licence. Some freight and logistics planning support may be required.

Responsible for undertaking daily pick, pack, put away tasks with reference to SOPs, checklists, safe work methods. This requires stock movement with a forklift, product quality checks and manual labour.

General warehouse duties, assisting with goods inbound and outbound. Accuracy and the support of stock management is a must.

Responsible for undertaking periodic checks on equipment and reporting any maintenance and/or supplies shortfall.

Forklift operations, regular cycle counts and stocktakes.

Assist the Warehouse Manager in warehouse operations as required

Skills and Experiences:

Essential

Fit for manual labour

Accuracy & attention to detial

Confident & enthusiastic with a positive attitude

Knowledge & experience in warehouse procedures

Team Player

Ability to take direction

Knowledge of WHS principles

Desirable

Forklift Ticket

Truck Licence

Knowledge with cycle counting and stocktaking
