Total Tools Ashfield is looking for a Full-Time Business Development Manager, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for you to utilise your current sales skills and experience within a growing and diverse business.
This position will suit an experienced sales professional; you will have previous experience as a sales representative, account manager or similar, with an ability to build strong, loyal relationships in the trade and industrial sectors. Having a passion for outstanding customer service will result in delivering the required KPIs, whilst adding real value to our trade customers. You will be an enthusiastic, self-starter, with proven results in driving sales growth in a target driven environment.
What will you be doing?
Building solid working relationships and developing rapport with key stakeholders/accounts
Liaising with, and finding solutions for current and potential clients
Developing and implementing sales plans and initiatives
Effectively managing your diverse customer base
Analysing sales and customer data to identify new opportunities
Attracting new customers in addition to growing existing business- you will be comfortable cold calling as required
Achieving sales, margin, and product mix targets
Does this sound like you?
A sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with sound experience in a similar sales role
A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making
Strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude
Organised with excellent time management skills
Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail
Comfortable with technology – computer literacy is a must, with a professional phone manner
A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in the trade and industrial sector an advantage
