The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in enabling business growth across a high-profile and fast-moving sector. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll help identify new opportunities, support major pursuits, and enhance how we engage with our clients.
You’ll be at the heart of our work-winning activities - coordinating bids, tracking market intelligence, and supporting strategic client initiatives that position KBR as a partner of choice.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Intelligence & Lead Generation
Identify new clients, projects, and emerging opportunities across the NSW Transport market
Track infrastructure pipelines, funding announcements, and policy developments
Monitor competitor activity and support win strategies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity pipelines in Salesforce
Client & Relationship Support
Maintain client records and engagement history in CRM systems
Coordinate meetings, communications, and follow-ups
Support Key Account Management activities
Help drive a client-centric approach to business development
Events & Campaigns
Coordinate client events, forums, and networking opportunities
Manage logistics, invitations, and follow-ups
Support marketing campaigns and content creation (presentations, capability statements, briefing packs)
Enhance KBR’s visibility across the transport sector
Strategic Pursuits
Coordinate major, complex bids and long-term opportunities
Schedule and manage pursuit meetings, including leadership briefings
Develop presentations and materials to support strategy
Track actions, timelines, and deliverables to ensure structured pursuit management
Proposal & Bid Coordination
Support RFQs, RFPs, EOIs, and capability statement submissions
Coordinate inputs across multiple stakeholders
Ensure high-quality documentation and on-time delivery
Contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes
About You
You’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You enjoy working with stakeholders at all levels and take pride in delivering high-quality outputs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Great knowledge and experience across business development, bids, marketing, or coordination roles
(or 2+ years supporting complex bids or multi-stakeholder projects), ideally in an engineering, infrastructure or professional services environment
Experience supporting proposals or client-facing activities
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce highly regarded)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively
Ideally have a familiarity with NSW Transport clients
Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, communications, or similar
