About the role
The Role
For our German organization, we are looking for an Industrial Relations Manager Germany to lead and coordinate our industrial relations agenda while partnering closely with business leaders, plant management and local HR teams across our manufacturing footprint.
This is a highly visible role that combines industrial relations expertise with broader organizational and people leadership responsibilities in a multi-site industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate industrial relations activities across Prysmian Germany, maintaining constructive and trust-based relationships with Works Councils and employee representatives.
Prepare and support negotiations, consultation processes and Works Agreements, ensuring legally sound and business-oriented solutions.
Advise leaders on German labor law, co-determination matters, organizational change and employee relations topics.
Act as a key HR partner to plant management teams, supporting the execution of people priorities across German manufacturing sites.
Coordinate closely with local HR teams to drive consistency, share best practices and support effective implementation of HR initiatives across locations.
Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, succession considerations and capability-building initiatives.
Support transformation and change projects, ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement and sustainable implementation.
Identify people-related risks and opportunities across sites and contribute to the development of long-term workforce strategies aligned with business objectives.
Your Profile
Significant experience in Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Labor Law or Senior HR Business Partner roles within Germany.
Strong knowledge of German co-determination and Works Council processes.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, infrastructure, energy or comparable environments.
Proven ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders, employee representatives and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience supporting organizational change, workforce planning or complex business transformations is highly valued.
Fluent German and English.
