TXT e-Tech, a company within the TXT Group, is looking for Aeronautical System Engineers to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) activities in the Aerospace & Defense sector.

TXT is building a dedicated team focused on aeronautical CFD, composed of professionals with different levels of experience. The selected candidates will support the aerodynamic analysis of an advanced aircraft configuration by contributing to mesh generation, CFD simulations, and aerodynamic performance assessment.

Working within a multidisciplinary environment, the successful candidate will collaborate with specialists in aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and aircraft design, contributing to the development and validation of innovative aircraft configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate surface and volume meshes for CFD simulations, including both wall-resolved and wall-function configurations.

Set up and perform RANS CFD simulations, monitor convergence, and carry out post-processing activities.

Evaluate the aircraft's aerodynamic characteristics, with particular focus on stability, controllability, trim conditions, and aerodynamic load distribution.

Analyze internal flow from the air intake to the engine, assessing total pressure losses and flow distortion.

Update the Stability & Control dataset and contribute to the definition of aerodynamic load datasets and thrust bookkeeping.

Correlate CFD results with experimental data from wind tunnel testing campaigns, when available.

Required Technical Skills:

Master's Degree in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering.

Solid knowledge of aerodynamics, gas dynamics, and flight mechanics.

Experience with CFD software, mesh generation, RANS turbulence models, and post-processing.

Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.

Experience in the aerodynamic validation of aircraft configurations.

Good command of written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of advanced turbulence models (URANS, LES).

Experience in automating CFD workflows using Python or MATLAB.

Experience with CAD-to-CFD integration, including geometry import, clean-up, and defeaturing.

Experience correlating CFD results with experimental wind tunnel data.

Knowledge of internal flow analyses (air intakes and ducting systems).

Experience using HPC clusters and managing parallel CFD simulations.

Knowledge of aerodynamic models for Stability & Control and load bookkeeping.

Experience with aerodynamic optimization processes.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.

Team-oriented mindset with experience working in multidisciplinary environments.

Accuracy, results-driven attitude, and a proactive approach.
