QC Analyst - Bioassay

At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. Regeneron is currently seeking a QC Analyst - Bioassay to join our QC Biology and Biochemistry team.

When & where:

Location: Raheen, Limerick.

What you’ll do:

Conducting tests on, in-process, release, stability, and/or research samples.

Gathering data and documents test results for techniques such as cell-based potency and ELISA for Bioassay.

Performing cell biology techniques such as mammalian cell culture, preparing reagent aliquots and media for use in cell-based assays.

Reviewing test results to ensure compliance with standards; reports any quality anomalies.

Complying with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.

Conducting testing on in-process, product, stability, and/or research samples.

Writing and revising control test procedures and SOPs.

Completing test records and reviews data.

Calibrating or verifying calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.

May assist in validation of methods.

Involved in establishing the transfer of methodology from R&D.

The environment and physical rhythms of this role:

Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Ability to organise and maintain data or information.

Ability to learn through observation and hands on experience.

Preferably experience with molecular biology and cell biology techniques such as ELISA, Bioassay and mammalian cell culture.

Experience with electronic systems such as LIMS, ViCell, SoftMax, Hamilton Venus, Labware is an advantage.
