About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Finance Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you'll analyse financial performance, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights that help drive business decisions across our retail, supply chain, eCommerce, and corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and performance analysis.
Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Analyse sales, revenue, costs, and profitability to identify trends and opportunities.
Partner with business teams to provide financial insights and commercial recommendations.
Monitor KPIs and prepare management dashboards.
Perform variance analysis and explain budget-to-actual results.
Support business cases, investment appraisals, and strategic projects.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial controls.
Collaborate with merchandising, supply chain, operations, and digital teams.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
2–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, commercial finance, or corporate finance.
CPA Australia or CA qualification (or progress toward certification) is highly regarded.
Strong Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis skills.
Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment with strong attention to detail.
