This is an opportunity to shape a growing digital health portfolio with real customer, patient and commercial impact. You will lead a broad operational remit, influence at executive level and help scale accessible, high-quality digital health services across Australia.
What you’ll do:
We are seeking a commercially astute operations executive to lead this agenda as Head of Operations – Digital Health. Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Digital Health, you will be a key member of the Digital Health Leadership Team and accountable for end-to-end operational performance.
This enterprise-wide role brings telehealth, health screening, customer support, workforce operations, clinician resourcing, engineering operations and field service into one scalable, resilient function. You will lift service levels and access, improve efficiency and compliance, strengthen customer and patient experience, and lead the team through integration and growth.
Partnering with Clinical, Product, Commercial, Marketing, Technology and broader Wesfarmers Health teams, you will shape the operating model, align capacity to demand and enable safe, sustainable growth.
What you’ll lead:
Set the Digital Health operations strategy, aligning capability to business priorities, growth and customer needs
Design and embed a unified operating model across InstantScripts and SiSU Health
Own service levels and access, including consultation wait times, response times and screening delivery
Lead clinician recruitment, onboarding, rostering and workforce planning with Clinical leadership
Drive performance across support, screening, engineering operations and field service
Embed compliance, quality, risk, health, safety and wellbeing practices
Build and develop a multi-disciplinary operations team, creating clarity, accountability and engagement through change
Contribute to the Digital Health Leadership Team and broader growth agenda
About you:
You are an established senior operations leader, ideally at GM or executive level, with strong experience in healthcare, clinical service delivery or another regulated, service-led environment. You bring executive judgement, commercial discipline and the leadership maturity to guide teams through integration, transformation and growth.
You have led large, multi-disciplinary teams and scaled complex operations while improving service, access, efficiency and customer experience. Your background may include workforce planning, demand forecasting, rostering, customer support or contact-centre leadership, with strong healthcare compliance, quality and risk experience.
What you’ll bring:
Senior operations leadership experience, ideally 10–15+ years, including GM or executive-level exposure in healthcare or clinical services
Strong understanding of Australian healthcare and regulated environments
Experience leading integration, transformation or large-scale change
Capability in workforce planning, clinical resourcing, rostering, demand planning and service performance
Track record improving support, service quality, access, productivity and cost-to-serve
Strong commercial, analytical and financial management capability
Executive stakeholder influence across Clinical, Product, Commercial, Marketing, Technology and corporate teams
A leadership style that builds trust, sets high standards and creates momentum through change
