Description

About Us

Adventure Operations (AO) is a proudly Australian consumer goods company, home to a stable of iconic and trusted brands, including OZtrail®, Companion®, Campfire®, Ozpig®, Jamec Pem®, Trade Flame® and MTB Direct®.

With some brands stretching back over 80 years, and the formation of AO in 2018, we combine deep product knowledge with a passion for innovation across the Outdoor, Leisure, Mountain bike and Industrial categories.

About the Role

Do you get a thrill from watching an abandoned cart flow convert, or seeing open rates climb after the perfect subject line test? Ready to build a loyalty program from the ground up and make it your own?

We are on the hunt for a hands-on Lifecycle Marketing Lead to own the lifecycle (CRM) marketing channel across Adventure Operations’ brands, with hands-on responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Klaviyo email and SMS and the build, launch, and ongoing management of the loyalty program from the ground up.

The Lifecycle Marketing Lead will plan, build, test and optimise automated flows and campaigns that grow owned-audience revenue, retention, and repeat purchase rate and will work closely with our eCommerce, Creative, Product and Customer Service teams to turn data and ideas into campaigns that connect with our customers.

A Day in the Life

Building, testing, and optimising automated flows (welcome, abandon, post-purchase, win-back, replenishment, and more)

Planning and sending email and SMS campaigns in line with the promotional calendar

Running a structured A/B testing program and rolling learnings into future sends

Leading the end-to-end build and launch of our loyalty program in Yotpo

Managing segmentation, list hygiene, consent and deliverability across brands

Reporting on lifecycle performance and turning insights into action

Coordinating with Creative, eCommerce, Product and Customer Service to keep everything on track

About You

A proactive self-starter who loves owning a channel and seeing it grow would suit this role perfectly. If you live and breathe Klaviyo and have your eye on lifetime value (not just opens and clicks), we would love to hear from you.

Ideally, you will posses:

2-4 years’ hands-on experience with Klaviyo and Shopify, building flows, campaigns and segments end-to-end

Experience developing, launching or managing a loyalty/rewards program (Yotpo ideal; kendo, LoyaltyLion or similar considered)

A strong grasp of email deliverability, list hygiene and consent management

Experience running multi-channel lifecycle marketing across email and SMS

A track record with A/B testing and using data to drive results

Confidence juggling multiple brands and competing priorities

Sound copywriting and proofreading skills, with an eye for brand and detail

Familiarity with HTML/CSS and tools like Canva is a bonus

What’s in it for You

At AO, we offer a supportive and fun team environment with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

Ownership of a channel and a loyalty program, from strategy through to execution

Ongoing training and development opportunities

A relaxed yet high-performance culture

The chance to test our products and even join campouts at some spectacular locations

Opportunity to work a 9-day fortnight (following successful completion of probation)

Hybrid work policy

Exclusive staff, family, and friends’ discounts on our entire product range

Company-wide and team events
