Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Lead Product Owner to lead, coach, and line manage a team of Product Owners, driving high performance and continuous development across the team.

This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on AI adoption. You'll champion the use of AI tools across the Product Owner community, contribute to building AI-enabled workflows, and act as a role model for how AI can be embedded into day-to-day product ownership - from requirements and prototyping through to prioritisation and delivery.

What we're looking for:

7+ years of product ownership experience in software/technology environments

Proven line management experience, or significant coaching/mentoring of other product professionals

Demonstrable experience using and building AI tools to improve delivery - this is essential, not a nice-to-have

Confidence working with technical teams and complex, technical products

Strong command of Agile practices at scale (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum, Kanban)

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

You will be reporting to a Senior Manager

You'll be expected to:

Lead and develop a team of Product Owners across agile teams

Drive AI adoption across the Product Owner community and establish best practices

Contribute to building AI tools that improve product ownership workflows

Set the standard for backlog ownership, prioritisation, and quality

Qualifications

AI - Demonstrable experience using and building AI tools to improve delivery

7+ years of product ownership experience in software/technology environments

Proven line management experience, or significant coaching/mentoring of other product professionals

Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

AI/ML literacy certification or equivalent practical experience
