This is an exciting opportunity to join CGI’s Services to Credit Unions team in Vancouver, where we provide industry-leading IT services to our clients. We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to take on a Business Analyst role. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in delivering solutions within the Financial Services sector.
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring successful project delivery meeting budget, timelines, and client satisfaction while supporting both new and existing business initiatives
Your future duties and responsibilities
Lead the development of project requirements across multiple workstreams
Guide and mentor other Business Analysts within the project team
Attend regular status meetings with internal teams and clients
Provide consistent and accurate status reporting
Take a lead role in developing comprehensive business requirements documentation
Prepare and deliver presentations to senior client executives
Document findings and present recommended solutions to stakeholders
Provide business analysis support within Agile project environments
Develop high-level functional and non-functional requirements
Create use case views and detailed use cases
Facilitate requirements workshops with clients and technical teams
Communicate requirements clearly and effectively to technical team members
Participate in defining and executing system testing activities
Assist in effort estimation and project planning
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Banking Business Analyst
Strong interpersonal skills with well-developed written, verbal, and presentation abilities
Goal-oriented, results-driven, and highly client-focused
Experience in strategic and operational business planning
Knowledge of change management and communications practices
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Desirable Skills:
Change Management training and certification
Business Analysis certification
Experience with Wealthview Banking and Ovation
Ideal Candidate Profile:
At least 5 years of related IT experience
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Capable of performing with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
Passion for corporate social responsibility
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000.00–$110,000.00. This role is an existing vacancy.
