TinyMobileRobots is seeking a Territory Manager to drive revenue and brand awareness for their autonomous field painting robots throughout Colorado/Wyoming, among school districts, municipalities, parks & recreation, professional sports teams, colleges & universities, and youth sports organizations. This role is a blend of generating front-line sales revenue and ensuring customer success. It requires a self motivated individual with the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities:

Understand the Market & Competition

Maintain expert-level knowledge of the market, customer base, and competitor activities

Understand the unique aspects across types of sports fields, physical environments and the processes and tools used for field maintenance

Stay well informed about market evolution; anticipate and mitigate risks to the business

Identify and analyze competitor tactics within the sales pipeline to proactively develop and implement effective counter-measures

Build Strong Relationships

Strategic Network Expansion: Establish, maintain, and continuously a robust professional network among key client segments, including educational, municipal, and sports organizations.

Influencer Engagement: Skillfully navigate complex customer organizations to identify, engage, and influence critical decision-makers.

Internal Collaboration: Cultivate strong, cooperative partnerships with teammates and internal functional departments to drive holistic customer success.

Lead Cultivation: Strategically leverage existing client base and proactively develop non-traditional lead sources for sustained business growth.

Develop & Implement Plans

Strategic Planning: Create, maintain, and execute a dynamic lead generation and sales plan for the assigned territory, continuously optimizing tactics for new customer acquisition and pipeline health.

CRM Data Management: Ensure all customer and pipeline data is accurately and consistently maintained within the organization's CRM system to facilitate forecasting and operational efficiency.

Territory Optimization: Design and implement efficient, cost-effective territory coverage and travel plans to maximize customer prospect touchpoints and engagement.

Proposal & Quotation Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from responding to RFPs/competitive bids to providing accurate, policy-compliant customer quotations that meet all requirements.

Client Advocacy & Referrals: Proactively identify, secure, and cultivate successful clients as official reference customers to drive referrals and support sustained business growth.

Deliver Results

Self-Sourced Pipeline: Proactively secure, qualify, and develop new lead opportunities within the territory, ensuring efficient investment of time and resources beyond marketing-generated tactics.

Product Expertise & Demonstration: Successfully conduct compelling on-site product demonstrations for individuals and groups, showcasing the robot's value proposition.

Strategic Market Engagement: Represent the company at relevant regional trade shows/field days and contribute to national exhibitions as required.

Customer Onboarding & Retention: Manage the full product installation process and provide comprehensive customer training to maximize their success, satisfaction, and referral potential.

Quota Attainment: Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for robot demonstrations, sales volume, and overall revenue.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated history of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas within a defined geographic territory

Strong understanding of pipeline management and territory planning strategies

Proficient with CRM software for lead generation, managing customer interactions, and pipeline development. (i.e. HubSpot)

Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for regular travel within the assigned territory

Preferred Education and Experience:

Degree from an accredited college or university OR related work experience

Technology savvy; basic knowledge of hardware, software, firmware, wireless and cellular technologies

4 to 6+ years of direct sales experience

Physical Requirements:

Valid Driver’s license and ability to drive vehicle, often over extended distances

Ability to lift/transport moderately heavy objects in/out of vehicle (up to 100lbs.)

Ability to operate a computer, tablet & other technology

Working environment is frequently outdoors, in unpredictable conditions (rain, heat, humidity, dirt/mud, uneven/sloped terrain)

Protected, lockable space in home location to store two robots and associated supplies

Other Requirements:

Fluency in English required, bilingual preferred

Ability and willingness for overnight travel 30-50 nights/year

Candidate offered this position must pass a motor vehicle driving report and substance abuse test to fill this position
