Coordinates externally with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, developing and managing relationships to influence and gain cooperation in the assessment, planning, installation, and improvement of assets, processes, and systems. Develops actionable insights through extensive research and analysis, creating and implementing strategies that contribute to the development of departmental goals and planning efforts, including budgets and operational plans. Designs and develops industry-leading methodologies and approaches, ensuring the execution of projects and processes that span beyond immediate job areas, with limited oversight and significant impact on departmental results. Instructs and coaches lower-level professionals, reviewing and delegating work, correcting and approving deliverables, and contributing to the enhancement of overall team performance. Interfaces with parties within and outside the organization, effectively communicating policies, practices, and procedures to justify and gain cooperation for the successful execution of projects and initiatives. Implements systems to manage project timelines, budgets, fees, and outcomes, making moderate to significant improvements to enhance the performance of job areas and addressing numerous and undefined problems. Directs groups to achieve operational targets, drawing from prior experience and analysis to solve complex issues that impact departments or specialties, ensuring strategic communication and change management activities align with project objectives. This role manages large-scale projects or processes that significantly contribute to organizational performance. Colleagues in this position are expected to tackle semi-complex and often challenging problems, requiring analysis and sound judgment. Communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners such as clients or vendors is expected. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this position will determine appropriate methods and procedures for new assignments and lead teams or initiatives. The position typically requires a strong foundation of knowledge, typically supported by a university degree or equivalent experience.
