About the role

What success looks like in this role:

We are looking for a Meraki focused Network Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in routing, switching, and wireless across Cisco Meraki and Cisco ISE platforms. The role centers on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network environments ensuring high availability, security, and scalability across cloud-managed infrastructures.

The ideal candidate brings 4-6 years of proven experience with Cisco Meraki (MX, MS, MR) and Cisco ISE, with a solid command of network access control, segmentation, and policy enforcement. They will serve as a trusted technical resource for clients, internal teams, and global vendors leading projects from assessment through delivery in mission-critical 24x7 environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Meraki Network Design & Deployment

Architect, implement, and optimize enterprise network solutions across Cisco Meraki MX (security/SD-WAN), MS (switching), and MR (wireless) product lines.

Configure and manage Meraki Dashboard at scale including templates, tagging, alert policies, and API-driven automation.

Design SD-WAN topologies using Meraki MX with Auto VPN.

Cisco ISE & Network Access Control

Deploy and manage Cisco ISE for 802.1X authentication, MAB, guest access portals, and BYOD onboarding workflows.

Build and maintain ISE authorization policies, profiling, posture assessment, and RADIUS/TACACS+ integration.

Integrate Meraki with ISE for seamless NAC enforcement across wired, wireless, and VPN access scenarios.

Wireless Infrastructure

Plan and deploy Meraki MR wireless networks including RF planning, AP placement, SSID design, and roaming optimization.

Troubleshoot wireless issues including RF interference, coverage gaps, client roaming failures, and authentication problems.

Implement wireless security frameworks: WPA3, 802.1X/EAP, rogue AP detection, and WIDS/WIPS using Meraki and ISE.

Troubleshooting & Optimization

Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across all OSI layers from physical connectivity to application-layer performance.

Leverage Meraki Dashboard analytics, packet capture, and event logs for root cause analysis and proactive monitoring.

Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for escalations and resolution of platform-level issues.

Client Interaction & Project Execution

Lead client-facing engagements: network assessments, design reviews, project presentations, and post-deployment reporting.

Drive network projects in collaboration with global teams and vendors, ensuring delivery in mission-critical environments.

Provide both remote and on-site support, maintaining high performance and availability across all supported infrastructures.
