Key Responsibilities
Plan, monitor, and optimize capacity across hybrid infrastructure (VMware and public cloud).
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of enterprise platforms.
Implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications.
Analyze capacity trends and provide forecasting for infrastructure growth and cloud consumption (FinOps).
Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, Cloud, Networking, and Application teams to support new initiatives.
Identify performance bottlenecks and drive infrastructure optimization strategies.
Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational tasks.
Support Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and cloud-native environments.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues.
Produce capacity planning, utilization, and executive reporting to support business decisions.
Must Have
3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
Strong experience with VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi, HA, DRS, vSAN).
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP in hybrid cloud environments.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Ansible).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Strong Linux administration and performance tuning skills.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or Zabbix.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or PowerCLI for automation.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls).
Experience performing capacity planning, performance analysis, and root cause analysis.
English proficiency for technical documentation and communication.
Nice to Have
AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
Experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
Knowledge of Cloud FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
Experience with VMware Aria Operations (vRealize Operations).
Background in Disaster Recovery (DR), Backup, and Business Continuity.
Experience with performance and load testing methodologies.
Knowledge of predictive analytics tools (Power BI, Excel, Python, Scikit-learn, Prophet).
Experience with serverless or cloud-native architectures.
VMware, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps certifications.
Experience leveraging AI tools to improve operational efficiency, automation, and troubleshooting.
