Strategy Analyst

Overview of the role:

Flutter Brazil is looking for a Strategy Analyst II to act as a partner for our Head of Strategy helping drive data-driven insights, strategic alignment, and decision-making. This role will work closely with the CEO and with the Finance, Marketing, Commercial, Product, Tech, and cross-functional teams, supporting KPI reporting, competitor benchmarking, strategic project delivery, and financial reviews in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.

What you’ll do:

Source internal and external data.

Create KPI reports to help management understand business actions and results through data.

Conduct in-depth analysis of operational aspects of the business, assisting team leaders in decision-making and safeguarding our strategic goals.

Support strategic projects and ad hoc business cases.

Assist with presentations for executive directors and investors.

Benchmark against local and international competitors, as well as other brands and regions within Flutter.

Support forecast cycles and financial reviews.

Work closely with Finance, Marketing, Commercial, Product, Tech, and Operations stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:

Previous experience in FP&A, Financial Consulting, Controlling, Mergers & Acquisitions, or Financial Analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to maintain a holistic view of the business and its market, and be able to form informed opinions on our strategy.

Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to challenge business decisions from a financial/data perspective.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.

Advanced English skills to interact with international stakeholders on a daily basis.

Advanced Excel skills.

Familiarity with SQL (intermediate level) is highly valued but not required.

Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT, especially when used for data analysis and sourcing.

Operational Speed: Own the weekly/monthly C-suite reporting and data models, cutting our time-to-insight/action;

Benchmark: Seek peers in other Flutter brands better understand challenges and actions experienced by them and bring learnings to Flutter Brazil;

Targeted Analysis: Execute deep-dive studies on performance gaps and competitor actions;
