Principal Data Analyst at BairesDev

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Data Analyst to define and lead the data analysis strategy across the organization. You will oversee SQL-based analyses, statistical modeling, visualization, and reporting initiatives, ensuring enterprise-wide insights are accurate, actionable, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate combines hands-on analytical expertise with strategic vision, mentoring teams, setting standards, and driving data-driven decision-making at scale.

What You'll Do:

Define and lead the data analysis strategy across the organization.

Oversee the design and execution of SQL queries, statistical analyses, and modeling initiatives.

Ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability of enterprise analytics and reporting.

Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports for enterprise stakeholders.

Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to align data insights with organizational goals.

Establish best practices, standards, and governance for analytics, reporting, and data quality.

Mentor and guide data analysts, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing.

Influence enterprise-wide decisions using insights derived from data analytics.

What we are looking for:

10+ years of experience in data analysis, SQL, statistical analysis, visualization, and reporting.

Strong background in software architecture design.

Strong understanding of system security.

In-depth knowledge of memory management and performance optimization.

Experience in designing and integrating distributed and scalable solutions, particularly in cloud environments.

Skilled in relational and non-relational databases.

Ability to choose between different architectures/technologies, understanding the pros and cons of each.

Expert in managing CI/CD pipelines.

Advanced level of English.
