Software Engineer (Embedded Linux) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer specializing in Embedded Linux, you will develop and optimize the core software that drives custom hardware platforms. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, ensuring high-performance execution and system stability for complex embedded devices.

What You'll Do:

Architect and build custom embedded Linux distributions tailored to specific hardware needs.

Perform initial board bring-up and hardware initialization using low-level bootloaders like U-Boot.

Develop and maintain Board Support Packages (BSPs) to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.

Design and optimize the Linux kernel and device drivers to enhance system performance and reliability.

Implement robust security protocols and enterprise-grade maintenance for mission-critical embedded systems.

What we are looking for:

5+ years of experience in Embedded Software Engineering focusing on Linux systems.

Proven expertise in developing embedded Linux distributions using Yocto Project or Buildroot.

Hands-on experience with board bring-up, U-Boot, and kernel module development.

Proficiency in low-level systems programming and device driver development.

Deep understanding of ARM or x86 architectures and system-level troubleshooting.

Advanced proficiency in English.
