Java Selenium SDET_Lead I - Software Testing

Role description

Senior Automation QA Engineer (SDET) - 5 to 7 Years

5-7 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing with strong expertise in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing across web applications.

Mandatory experience as an SDET with strong proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver, including designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks (TestNG/JUnit, Maven, etc.).

Solid experience in UI Testing and API Testing (REST APIs using tools such as Postman/Rest Assured), with the ability to create comprehensive automated test suites.

Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, test design techniques, defect lifecycle, regression testing, and CI/CD integration.

Excellent hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries for data validation, backend testing, and troubleshooting.

Working knowledge of any cloud platform, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with an understanding of cloud-hosted applications and testing practices.

Strong coding skills in Java, with the ability to develop reusable automation utilities, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to framework enhancements.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in Agile teams and work independently on end-to-end QA activities.
