Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a Systems Engineer (Experienced of Lead) in support of the Bombers Sustainment Systems Engineering, Integration & Testing (SEIT) organization in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will support B-52 Sustainment programs for Systems Engineering primarily interfacing with software teams, mission systems, logistics and program management.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced, Lead or Senior Level Engineers.

This position will serve as a Systems Engineer on the B-52 Platform supporting modification and upgrade programs, primarily focused on hardware and software related efforts.

Position Responsibilities:

Experienced (Level 3)

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.

Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.

Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.

Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

Develops the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.

Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Lead (Level 4)

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.

Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.

Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.

Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

Develops, maintains, and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.

Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

3+ years of related systems engineering/project engineering work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong knowledge and experience in Excel / Data Analytics

Ability to obtain a U. S. Top Secret security clearance post-start.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Knowledge and/or experience in MSOSA or Model Based Systems Engineering

Experience using DOORS or a similar type of requirements software.

Experience writing documents such as CDRLs that will be delivered to customers.

Experience developing proposals.

Knowledge and/or experience applying AI to solve logistical problems (forecasting spare parts, estimating timelines to repair parts based on past experience, creating / maintaining dashboards.

Summary pay range:

Experienced Level $83,000 – $154,000

Lead Level: $105,000 - $188,000
