At Resmed, every line of code has the potential to improve lives. As an Associate AWS Engineer, you'll join a collaborative engineering team building cloud services that support OSA Pathways within our growing Digital Health business. Working from our hybrid Dublin office, you'll help develop secure, scalable backend services that support key stages of the patient journey - from sleep-health screening through diagnosis and treatment pathways.

This is an opportunity to grow your engineering career while working on meaningful products that connect patients, providers, partners, and healthcare systems. Support the continuous improvement of development processes, delivery pipelines, observability practices, and release readiness activities.

Learn from experienced engineers while contributing to technical discussions, implementation decisions, and solution delivery.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline involving coding.

Working knowledge of Python and an understanding of object-oriented design principles.

Exposure to AWS services, particularly serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.

Understanding of RESTful API design, authentication and authorization concepts, including OAuth2 and JWT.

Understanding of microservices architecture principles.

Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Comfort working in agile development environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.

A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for learning, growth, and knowledge sharing.

Nice to have

Exposure to message-brokering systems such as SQS or SNS and event-driven architectures.

Exposure to NoSQL and relational database technologies.
