Ready to make your mark with some of Australia’s most loved food brands? Retail Food Group is seeking a Category Manager to shape sourcing, procurement and supply chain strategies that support ambitious growth across two key brands.
This role is full-time at 38 hours per week from our Robina office location!

About the Role
As a Category Manager you will focus on two of our amazing brands and play a key role in shaping the procurement and supply chain strategies that support our ambitious growth strategy within a fast paced , evolving environment. This role combines hands-on sourcing and supplier management with strategic thinking and stakeholder influence, both locally and globally.
This is a highly collaborative role working as part of a small procurement team, you and your fellow Category managers are at the heart of supplier negotiations, cost-efficiency initiatives, product development and innovation, ensuring we deliver the quality, consistency, and commercial performance required across our networks. .
What You’ll Do:
Shape the Strategy: Develop and execute category plans in line with RFG’s commercial and operational goals.
Own Supplier Relationships: Source, negotiate, and manage supplier partnerships and SLAs across key product and service categories.
Drive Value: Deliver cost savings, supply chain efficiencies, and risk mitigation strategies across the network.
Continuous Improvement: Analyse sales, margin, market, and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth, product rationalisation and range optimisation.
Support Growth: Ensure seamless procurement support for new store openings, menu innovations, and product launches.
Monitor & Report: Analyse data, track KPIs, and report on supplier performance, market trends, and sourcing strategies.
What You Bring:
2 – 5 years of experience in category management, procurement, or supply chain - ideally in QSR, retail, or hospitality
Proven success in supplier negotiation, cost reduction, and driving commercial outcomes
A proactive and detail-oriented commercial mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and influencing outcomes
Ability to concisely communicate options and outcomes to internal and franchise customers
Strong financial acumen and experience developing market and cost models
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
