Overview
Gallagher Global Broking Europe (GGB) is pursuing ambitious growth across Europe, driven by both organic and inorganic initiatives. As the business scales, structures, processes, and cross-border coordination need to evolve accordingly.
The role focuses on supporting the development and implementation of cross-European initiatives, with a particular emphasis on leveraging AI to enhance efficiency, centralize activities, and support strategic decision-making across markets.
To support this growth journey, we are strengthening our team with additional central support. As an Intern in Business Development & AI Transformation Europe, you will work closely with the European Executives under the leadership of the Executive Manager Europe.
How you'll make an impact
In this role, you will contribute to key strategic and operational topics across Europe, including:
Help design, implement, and manage AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and transparency across broking activities, leveraging AI to streamline and harmonize processes
Contribute to ad-hoc executive projects across strategy, legal, operations, and business development (from pre-M&A to Integration)
Support cross-country initiatives to align structures, processes, and governance frameworks
Prepare management presentations, reports, and decision materials for senior stakeholders
Facilitate coordination across multiple European entities, support as a central interface between business units
Support the continuous improvement of internal processes, including digitalization and automation initiatives
About you
We are looking for a highly motivated and analytically strong individual with an interest in strategy, innovation, and international collaboration:
Advanced stage of studies (Bachelor completed or Master ongoing) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with strong academic performance
First practical experience in project-based environments (e.g., internships, working student roles, consulting, or similar)
Strong interest and initial experience in AI applications in a business context (e.g., prompting, automation, use case development)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international environment
High level of initiative, reliability, and structured working style
Strong interest in combining strategy, innovation, and hands-on implementation
Very good MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent in English and German
Enthusiasm for working in a European, cross-border environment
