Position Summary:
Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced, inspired and mission-driven Technical Product Manager with a focus in Supply Chain in Charlotte, NC to join our growing team!
The Supply Chain (Technology) Product Manager with help execute the product vision and strategy for our fleet maintenance supply chain technology platform. This is a critical role where you will be partnering with the Supply Chain organization and translating their real-world needs into a product roadmap that drives operational efficiency and user satisfaction. You will work closely with the business and technology development teams to drive improvement in enabling the parts and inventory programs that our technicians rely upon every day. Reporting into the SVP of Software Development as an individual contributor, but directly supporting the Supply Chain organization, this role has a significant impact on the success of the supply chain program.
Compensation: Competitive Salary Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Pay range: $145,000-165,000 annually, depending on experience!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for driving technology solutions in the following four major supply chain areas: Automotive parts catalog, parts inventory processes, vendor management, and parts purchasing.
Partner closely with the supply chain organization to understand their needs and to develop technology solutions to automate manual processes.
Drive technology improvement programs throughout the supply chain organization.
Conduct regular feedback sessions with both the supply chain corp organization as well as technicians across the organization to identify pain points, gather feature requests, and understand workflow challenges.
Build strong relationships with supply chain and operations leaders and supervisors to gather insights on team needs and operational priorities.
Document and prioritize user feedback into clear, comprehensive product requirements and build out a product roadmap.
Work with developers through the entire development lifecycle.
Lead and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that completed features meet user needs
Identify best of breed software technologies on the market to address specific functions of the supply chain needs. This will include identification of how AI be included in the proposed solution.
Manage the rollout and communication of new features to organization
Own training content and materials for new product features and capabilities
Support the rollout of updates to ensure technician adoption and minimize disruption
Monitor product usage metrics and gather ongoing feedback to identify improvement opportunities
Act as the primary support resource for escalated product questions or issues
Identify and champion quick wins that can be implemented to improve supply chain efficiencies
What does success look like?
Optimized supply chain processes supported by technology solutions through the enterprise
Minimized inventory shrinkage
High quality parts requests from shop floor
Fully automated (as much as possible) purchasing, inventory, and vendor management
Collaborate with AI specialists on the team to drive AI solutions to the supply chain process
Key Competencies and Minimum Education:
5+ years of Supply Chain experience in mid-size to large environment.
Proven experience translating user feedback into product requirements and specifications
Demonstrated ability to manage product roadmaps and prioritize competing initiatives
Strong collaboration skills with technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Experience with the full product development lifecycle (planning, development, testing, launch, support)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Technical literacy (comfortable with web applications; deep technical knowledge not required)
BA/BS Degree in Technology related field, Advanced degree a plus
Must be willing to travel approx. 20% to various shops in the US and Canada
