The M&PT Organization is looking for a Mid-Level Business Operations Specialist to join the St. Louis Materials and Standards / Obsolescence Engineering Team in Berkeley, Missouri.

This position will create metrics, presentations, data visualization; lead cross-division / site projects; and assist leaders in running the business. The selected candidate will work with various cross functional partners to communicate risk, actions, information, and decisions to ensure the success of our Boeing Defense and Space program customers.

Position Responsibilities:

Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, schedule imperatives, deployment analysis and impact mitigation

Collects, analyzes and reviews complex quantitative scheduling and other project data to report project performance via both written reports and a series of charts and graphs to pictorially display data trends and levels

Knowledgeable and proficient in tracking program and project effectiveness using Earned Value Management metrics

Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning, maintains status reports, and supports the analysis and coordination of results in partnership with the accounting organization to achieve business plan and forecast targets

Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance

Provides assistance with collecting engineering data for proposal responses

Supports management of team program and project metrics, including analysis of trends

Familiar with using standard Project Schedule Tracking tools to develop and manage complex Gannt Charts ensuring all program and project tasks are organized and tracked in an efficient manner

Recommends and coordinates information to support engineering business cases and partners with functional leaders to develop action plans for projects

Supports requirements for Adaptive Planning forecasting, system loads, and reporting

Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post -Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience with collecting, analyzing and reporting process or project metrics

5+ years of experience with the Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel applications for data analysis and presentations

3+ years of experience assisting and leading teams in business processes, including establishing engineering baselines and projections for large-scale projects

3+ years of experience developing presentations and presenting information to various levels of management

2+ years of experience in a analyst position managing large-scale projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Familiarity with Boeing Defense and Space and Boeing Global Services programs and organization

Proficiency with using Boeing risk / opportunity processes and tools, including BORIS

Expertise with Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)

Proficiency building strong relationships

Highly motivated self-starter and self-directed learner with a creative mind, and high attention to detail

Comfortable with large volumes of complex data and present actionable findings to senior management

Strong attention to detail and proven capability to lead a team in handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with EVM and CAM duties a plus

Pay Rate Range

35 - 40 USD hourly
