As an AXA engineer, you'll collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and developers to build modern web applications. You’ll handle all stages of development - from requirements analysis and system design to coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The primary focus is on front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

Develop well-tested, responsive front-end applications using TypeScript and React/Next.js.

Make architectural decisions and design scalable, maintainable systems.

Continuously improve existing applications and implement enhancements.

Review code, ensure best practices, and promote quality standards.

Share knowledge within engineering communities of practice.

Mentor junior and mid-level developers.

Tech Stack

Languages: TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Databases: Aurora MySQL, DocumentDB, Redis

【求めるスキル・経験/ Required Skills and Experiences 】

7+ years developing web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript.

Strong experience with React and/or Next.js.

Skilled in HTML/CSS for responsive UI implementation.

Experience with Node.js back-end frameworks (Express.js, Fastify).

Good understanding of RESTful API design and Swagger/OpenAPI.

Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL; ability to design schemas and optimize queries.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with AWS cloud environment.

Proven ability to mentor team members and collaborate effectively.

Proficient in Git and collaborative workflows.

Business-level English (TOEIC 785+) and Japanese (JLPT N2+).

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

Experience with NoSQL databases (DocumentDB, Redis).

Familiarity with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.

Knowledge of microservices and service-oriented architecture.

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and SonarQube.

Design System knowledge (Nice to Have) - experience in developing or maintaining design systems is a plus.
