About Position:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test solutions for web and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on automation experience, strong QA fundamentals, and the ability to collaborate closely with application and DevOps teams.

Job Type: Full Time Employment

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright (Java and/or TypeScript).

Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend validations.

Perform API testing using tools such as RestAssured, Karate, SoapUI, or equivalent.

Validate data through database testing and support Kafka/message-queue testing where applicable.

Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Harness, or similar EPLX platforms.

Expertise You'll Bring:

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (Java and/or TypeScript).

Solid automation background using Selenium, RestAssured, Karate, or similar tools.

Strong understanding of Java, OOP concepts, and automation design patterns.

Hands-on experience with REST API testing and HTTP protocols.

Experience with test management tools such as Octane, ALM, JIRA.
