Job Description

You play a key role in managing purchasing activities for metal commodities, ensuring sourcing strategies are executed to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. You work closely with cross-functional teams to support new programs and optimize material costs across the business.

Responsibilities

Lead preparation and execution of RFQs for metal commodities to support sourcing decisions

Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve annual cost savings targets

Conduct market analysis to track raw material trends and inform sourcing strategies

Manage supplier contracts and ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing) on program and operational topics

Monitor and maintain purchasing systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date data

Track price evolution and ensure contract adherence throughout the lifecycle

Drive material change management processes to support engineering and cost optimization initiatives

Experience Requirements

5+ years of experience in purchasing, commodity buying, or supply chain roles

Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent experience

Strong negotiation and supplier management skills in a manufacturing environment

Advanced proficiency in English

Strong analytical and IT skills, including experience with purchasing systems and data analysis
