Providing strategic leadership across end-to-end supply chain and procurement, ensuring optimal balance between cost, service excellence, and risk management
Leading category management and sourcing strategies aligned with organisational priorities, commercial objectives, and sustainable procurement goals
Establishing and maintaining strategic supplier partnerships through robust relationship management, commercial negotiation, and contract governance
Leading supply chain transformation initiatives including process optimisation, digital procurement improvements, and sustainability programmes
Developing and inspiring a high-performing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional development across the function
What are we looking for?
This role of Supply Chain Manager is great for you if:
You're CIPS qualified or equivalent with significant procurement experience in building products, preferably gained in construction or civil engineering
You have a demonstrable track record of best-in-class supply chain delivery with strong negotiation skills and national supplier management experience
You're a skilled communicator with experience managing stakeholders at director level and across operational teams
You have proven experience in portfolio and contract management, including vendor management, performance reporting, and category management principles
You're a collaborative influencer experienced in navigating complex client, supply chain, and stakeholder landscapes within a large organisation
We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferable skills are always welcome! So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat.
