About the role
Position
The Marketing Operations Manager drives POSM (Point of Sale Material) operations, process excellence, and knowledge distribution within the German market. The role oversees key POSM workflows across the Moët Hennessy portfolio in Germany. The Marketing Operations Manager also acts as the SAP champion within the team.
This role works closely with Sales and Marketing teams and is supported by external agencies to further push excellence in execution, increase consistency, and ensure timely flow of information for long-term business success. A key objective is to permanently optimize processes and systems within the German marketing universe and develop portfolio templates to best cater to the needs of the teams, thereby improving overall structure and efficiency.
Job responsibilities
YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL:
Lead all aspects of POSM procedures across the Moët Hennessy portfolio within Germany.
Drive structure, processes, and knowledge distribution for POSM and VAP within the German market.
Act as the SAP champion for the Marketing team in Germany, ensuring smooth operations related to orders, accreditation, and invoicing.
Ensure excellence in execution of marketing activities by fostering consistency and timely information flow.
Optimize existing processes and systems within the German marketing universe.
Develop portfolio templates to improve team efficiency and structure.
POSM MANAGEMENT
Responsible for flawless execution of all Event POSM.
Mobile Bar Management: overseeing calendar, logistics, repairs, new concepts, costs, and agency relationships and act as first contact for internal mobile bar users
Working with purchasing to identify key projects for improving conditions and managing glass trays and POSM inventory, including POSM exchange.
Handling POSM orders, accreditation in SAP, invoicing, blocking, and returns management in close alignment with Customer Service and the Logistics team.
Managing annual POSM demand planning, including template preparation, catalog development, and order recommendations with cost management, and the development of POSM commitments and estimates.
Supervision of the POSM order system/app and POSM logistic management with Maison and local stakeholders.
Overseeing POSM orders and usage, conducting regular inventory reviews, and building recommendation/automation systems for brands.
Leading the biannual standard display production projects for the Off-Trade team.
KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
Managing the SharePoint knowledge management system and platform.
Elevating key templates (reporting, product information, promotion overview, POSM information, etc.).
Driving accessible calendar construction and ongoing management.
Setting up portfolio budget projects and handling invoicing.
Creation of universal product, brand, concept, and activation information/materials.
Project Lead annual Presentations for the Sales Team in Alignment with Marketing Team
SUPPLIER & AGENCY MANAGEMENT (in close collaboration with Purchasing)
Building a network of agencies, designers, and suppliers to be able to execute projects.
Briefing them on MH standards of execution.
Maintaining the German agency pool: identification, rates, and yearly updates.
Developing pitch document frameworks and process management.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzing ongoing processes within the Marketing department.
Developing active improvement ideas and streamlining communication channels and collaboration structures.
Profile
Education:
Degree-level education or equivalent experience in business administration / logistics.
First experience in Logistics or a Brand/Trade Marketing role within the German market region.
Professional experience & know how:
Analytical thinking paired with advanced computer skills – specifically MS Office and SAP.
Affinity for design & business thinking .
Strong understanding of MH brands, the wines & spirits industry and luxury universe.
Strong skills in Organization, time, and project management.
Ability to set priorities as well as providing guidance and timing for the teams.
Agency and supplier Management.
Languages
German fluent, English fluent, French is a plus
