Your Job

As a Product Specialist, you will support the full product lifecycle within Molex's Connected Mobility Solutions business, ensuring seamless coordination between customers, engineering, operations, and commercial teams.

Your role will be critical in driving execution-from managing customer inquiries and product changes to supporting production readiness and ongoing operational performance. You will operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, balancing technical details, customer needs, and business objectives to deliver high-quality outcomes and a strong customer experience.

What You Will Do

Support and coordinate product lifecycle activities from quotation through production and post-launch support.

Lead and manage Standard Parts Offering (SPO) initiatives aligned with product strategy and customer requirements.

Monitor product development and change management activities to ensure milestones and timelines are met.

Collaborate with Project Managers on PPAP timing, documentation, and customer submissions.

Partner with the Center of Excellence (COE) to implement product and process changes using formal change management processes.

Act as a liaison between Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Customer Support teams to ensure alignment and execution.

Respond to customer inquiries related to product specifications, configurations, and compliance requirements.

Manage urgent customer requests such as samples, drawings, and technical data.

Support pricing requests and customer onboarding activities aligned with product strategy.

Review and support order management activities, including exceptions below MOQ thresholds and shipment-related inquiries.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in product management, project coordination, customer support, or similar roles.

Experience working in cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills in English for collaboration with global teams. (Adapted requirement for Mexico scope)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).

What Will Put You Ahead

Experience in cable assembly, wiring harness, or automotive-related industries.

Knowledge of product lifecycle management, PPAP, or change management processes.

Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
