Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, RESTful API development, and Apache Kafka. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and event-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs.
Build and manage real-time data pipelines and event-driven applications using Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions).
Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following best practices and design patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including Kafka consumer lag and API failures.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD processes.
Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions.
Required Skills & Experience
4–6 years of hands-on experience in Java (Java 8+) development.
Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs / Web Services.
Strong, hands-on experience with Apache Kafka – producers, consumers, topics, partitions, offsets, and Kafka Streams.
Solid understanding of Spring / Spring Boot framework.
Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
