Job Description

You are joining our Industry Group Transport & Environment team within the Advisory & Coverage division of the Corporate and Investment Bank, which is looking for a Financial Analyst for an internship of 5 to 6 months from September 2026.

Industry Group Transport & Environment has strong expertise in the sectors of air transport (airports and airlines), roads, ports, logistics, rail sector, water and waste treatment, energy services (including district heating) etc. The team contributes to the development of investment banking, advisory/M&A and structured finance activities in these various sectors.

The mission of the Industry Group is to maintain a strategic dialogue with Natixis' clients and key prospects in order to generate opportunities in investment banking, advisory/M&A and structured finance, in coordination with the product teams. (Acquisition finance, Infra Finance, DCM, ECM, Global Markets etc.); define the bank’s strategy in the Transport & Environment sectors; participate in the execution of consulting, financing and other product mandates; and to be the centre of expertise providing sectoral opinions when necessary.

As an intern, you will work in a multicultural team based in Paris, New York and Hong Kong.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

The search for information and participation in sectoral studies;

Preparing sales presentations for clients (pitches, profiles, sector studies, promotional materials, etc.) within the team and in collaboration with the bank’s other business lines;

Market monitoring and updating of sectoral valuation references;

Monitoring of executions with product teams and relations with customers and prospects;

Financial analysis of companies.

This internship will allow you to acquire a good knowledge of the bank’s products as well as issues related to the transport and environment sectors

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

As a BAC +4/5 level student, you are preparing a university degree, business school (Grande École program) or engineering school, with a specialization in Finance.

You are interested in the transport and environment sectors.

You have a good understanding of financial statements, credit analysis and accounting principles.

You are able to manage several tasks to meet the client’s deadlines and you are reliable and organized.

You master PowerPoint, Excel (VBA) and Word.

You have good Spanish skills.

And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
