The Role

We are looking for a versatile designer , a talented DesignOps Specialist and highly creative Visual Designer to join Kyndryl Vital team. This role sits at the intersection of operations, visual design, digital product thinking, experience design, and emerging AI technologies .

As a DesignOps Specialist at Kyndryl Vital Spain & Portugal, you will contribute to the development of design concepts, working closely with clients to understand business needs and user requirements. You will help translate customer requirements into design solutions, including wireframes, mock-ups, and user interface prototypes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring design alignment with customer objectives and technical feasibility. You will gain familiarity with the technical stack and constraints, ensuring designs are both innovative and executable. You will participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and refining designs based on stakeholder input.

Who You Are

Required Profile :

At least 2-5 years of experience in Visual, UI, or Digital Product Design

With experience in coordinating or leading design and operations projects within design teams or Ops functions.

A strong visual designer with solid understanding of UX and interaction principles

Curious, proactive, and excited about the future of AI in digital experiences

A team player with a creative mindset and attention to detail.

Eager to learn.

DesignOps Skills

Design Process Management: You streamline workflows to optimize design efficiency.

Team Coordination: You manage design team resources, recruitment, and budgeting.

Design Tools Specialist: You curate and implement design tools for efficiency.

Communication Strategy: You develop effective communication plans across teams.

Design Systems Manager: You oversee design consistency and scalability.

Design Program Manager: You manage design projects and strategic initiatives.

PeopleOps Specialist: You handle design team onboarding and culture development.

AI and Data Ethics: You leverage AI tools while maintaining quality and ethical standards.

Design & Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in Figma (components, auto layout, prototyping, design systems)

Strong skills in visual design: typography, composition, color, branding, and layout

Experience creating and maintaining design systems

Ability to create interactive prototypes that communicate product concepts clearly

Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, or similar collaboration tools

AI & Innovation

Experience designing AI-powered features or products

Familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., for content, imagery, or interface exploration)

Interest or experience in conversational interfaces, adaptive systems, or agent-based experiences

Experience working on innovation, concept, or early-stage product projects.

Other Requirements nice to have :

Experience working in creative, multidisciplinary teams

Strong communication and storytelling skills through design

Fluent English & Spanish

Experience in international or cross-cultural projects

Background in branding, motion, or presentation design

Experience in facilitating co-creation, co-design, or creative sessions.

Visual & UI Design

Design visually compelling interfaces for digital products, prototypes, and concept experiences.

Ensure strong consistency in typography, layout, color, and visual language across products.

Translate complexity into clear, engaging, and user-friendly solutions.

Create key visuals, UI components, and scalable design systems.

Prototyping & Concept Development

Rapidly prototype digital concepts and interaction models using modern design and prototyping tools.

Contribute to the full journey from early idea to interactive prototype

Visualize AI-driven experiences, including conversational, adaptive, and autonomous interfaces.

AI-Driven Experience Design

Collaborate in the design of products powered by Generative AI (content, visuals, interactions)

Work closely with AI, product, and tech teams to shape feasible and inspiring solutions.

Strategic Thinking

Support user research and insight synthesis to inform visual and interaction decisions.

Contribute to user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns.

Balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility in your design work.

Collaboration & Communication

Work in multidisciplinary teams with designers, developers, product owners, and AI specialists.

Present and defend design decisions clearly and confidently.

Contribute to the evolution of internal design systems and visual standards.
