Reporting to the Accounting & Controls Manager ANZ, this role is responsible for the coordination of financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit activities across multiple legal entities.
This role operates within a supported environment, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors, and is focused on ownership, oversight, and coordination rather than detailed technical preparation.
In addition to core reporting and compliance responsibilities, this role will play a key part in business integration activities (including M&A) and contribute to process improvement initiatives, supporting the development of a scalable and efficient Accounting & Controls function.
This position requires strong technical capability, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to managing risk, compliance, and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate statutory financial reporting, working with external advisors who support technical preparation
Act as the primary contact for external audit, managing timelines, queries, and stakeholder coordination
Oversee and coordinate corporate income tax compliance, including:
Income tax returns
Transfer pricing
Country-by-Country (CbC) reporting
Support tax provision processes and ensure tax obligations are met in a timely and controlled manner
Oversee indirect tax compliance processes (e.g. GST) in collaboration with internal teams
Promote a strong internal control environment and support compliance activities
Ensure financial processes are audit-ready, well-controlled, and aligned with corporate policies
Support integration of newly acquired businesses into the local finance environment, including:
Process and reporting alignment
Coordination of entity restructuring and deregistration
Partner with internal stakeholders to validate financial outputs and resolve accounting matters
Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including simplification, standardisation, and automation

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
At least 5 year’s experience in tax, accounting, or finance within a corporate environment, professional services, or a similar setting.
Demonstrated experience in corporate tax (including income tax) and/or statutory financial reporting.
Experience partnering with external advisors on tax compliance and reporting.
A solid understanding of accounting standards.
Exposure to audit, internal controls is an advantage, but not essential.
CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent) is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and review financial information.
The ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with cross functional stakeholders.
