Regional Area Manager (NW Qld & Gulf)

As the Regional Area Manager, you will take ownership of client support, marketing and business development as well as in sights into the Region for which you are responsible.

Key responsibilities include:

Assist with client consultations relating to QRIDA's products and services and during annual loan reviews;

Ensure target audiences are aware of scheme-related deadlines and requirements;

Represent QRIDA at trade displays, conferences and shows, public seminars and community events;

Prepare monthly reports outlining, achievements, regional issues and relevant economic and seasonal conditions;

Contribute towards the effective management of the business unit's resources and information in accordance with QRIDA's governance and policy frameworks, including but not limited to risk management, work health and safety and records management;

As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities.

QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
