Senior Specialist - Quality Engineering

Role description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer with strong expertise in modernizing platforms through automation cloudnative development and CICD pipeline engineering The ideal candidate will have deep handson experience across Python Java cloud databases and deployment tooling and will contribute to building endtoend automation frameworks and pipelines A background in QATest automation is beneficial

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop endtoend automation scripts tools and CICD pipelines to enable platform modernization

Work closely with development DevOps and cloud engineering teams to implement scalable automation solutions

Build configure and maintain Gitbased CICD pipelines eg GitLab GitHub Actions Azure DevOps etc

Develop backend automation components using Python and Java

Work with cloudnative databases such as PostgreSQL including schema design optimization and query tuning

Build containerized solutions using Docker and manage cloud deployment configurations using Helm charts Argo CD and similar GitOps tools

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to modernize legacy components into cloudready automated workflows

Identify automation opportunities and establish best practices for code quality pipeline design and tool usage

Troubleshoot production and pipeline issues ensuring reliable secure and repeatable deployments

MustHave Skills

8 years of overall experience in software engineering DevOps automation or platform engineering

Strong proficiency in Python and Java for automation and backend development

Handson experience with cloudbased relational databases especially PostgreSQL

Expertise in Git pipelinesboth usage and configuration CI CD branching strategies versioning

Deep understanding of containerization and cloud deployment tools including

Docker

Helm Helm Charts

Argo CD or other GitOps tooling

Solid understanding of cloudnative architectures microservices concepts and infrastructure automation

Skills

Mandatory Skills : Playwright Java testing

Good to Have Skills : Accessibility Testing, Playwright C# Testing, Playwright Python Testing
