Description

Job overview and responsibilities

We are seeking a versatile .NET Developer to join our organization in a unique, high-impact role that blends hands-on software delivery with platform engineering enablement. In this position, you will work embedded within different product engineering teams on a long-term rotational basis to help plan, design, develop, launch, and support efficient systems and solutions aligned to business needs. While embedded, you will also partner closely with our PlatformOps team, receiving specialized training in platform engineering, CI/CD pipelines, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and modern cloud infrastructure. Your mission will be to act as a bridge between product teams and platform practices - applying your training to champion best practices, improve delivery workflows, identify and resolve technical issues, and elevate engineering standards across the teams you support. This role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently with general guidance and direction.

Design, develop, modify, and deliver high-quality, production-ready software applications and features within the assigned product team.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, contribute to moderate-to-complex projects, and deliver efficient systems and solutions.

Partner closely with PlatformOps to build practical expertise in infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment patterns, and SRE practices.

Bring platform knowledge back to the assigned product team by helping improve delivery workflows, resiliency, scalability, deployment readiness, and operational maturity.

Adapt smoothly to new team dynamics, codebases, product domains, and engineering practices during rotations.

Support and troubleshoot software systems as required by optimizing performance, resolving issues, and providing follow-up on problems and solutions.

Contribute to software documentation, user guidance, and knowledge-sharing materials that help teams adopt better engineering and platform practices.
