The Data Analyst supports Operations across both Manufacturing and Logistics by transforming data into meaningful insights that drive informed decision-making. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in statistical modeling, and expertise in business intelligence tools to help optimize operational performance.

The Data Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify trends, evaluate operational metrics, and develop actionable insights that support strategic initiatives and improve business outcomes. Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets, building dashboards and reports, and providing leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations.

Success in this role requires a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about using data to solve operational challenges and enhance organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Gathering business data and reporting requirements from stakeholders, business owners and users from the Manufacturing domain for metrics used to monitor business performance.

Making large and/or complex data more accessible, understandable and usable.

Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights for all operational teams.

Transforming, improving, and integrating data, depending on the business requirements.

Develop and maintain robust dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.

Report findings and recommendations to leadership, translating complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.

Collaborate with various departments to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to automate reporting tools & techniques.

Conduct advanced statistical analyses and modeling to support business forecasting and scenario planning.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices in data management and governance.

Visualize performance data in LUCID standard live dashboards formats.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization tools.

Connecting to various systems and a data warehouse to deliver the data in a useful and appealing way to users.

Access technical capabilities of the data framework to deliver data from a latency and accessibility perspective (laptop, mobile, TVs, etc.) and provide technical solutions as needed.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.

Ability to deep-dive data from both a top-down and bottom-up approach. • Ability to think strategically and communicate strategies effectively.

Experience in the Automotive Industry (OEM or Tier 1 Suppliers). • Experience working in a dynamic/start-up environment is a plus.

Flexibility in the work schedule is required (to include evenings and weekends, as needed).

Advanced skills in Python or other general-purpose programming language, Microsoft office advanced user. Working knowledge of Smartsheet, SAP, JIRA, Tableau, and any costing software.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Data Science, or equivalent experience in a related field.

3-5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, visualization, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in a relevant field.

Experience with complex analysis and data analytics in a Manufacturing context.

In-depth understanding of automotive Interior market dynamics and performance reporting mechanisms.

Competency with SQL, Tableau and other data visualization software.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and make strategic decisions. • Creative problem-solver with calculated risk-taking ability.

Experience in supplier relationship management and dispute resolution. • Knowledge of automotive industry trends and emerging technologies in Interior components.

Cost Engineering experience.

Start-up working experience is a plus.
