Operations Manager
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead delivery across a key social housing responsive maintenance contract in Walton on Thames.
This is a critical leadership role, responsible for managing day-to-day operations, driving performance, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
The Role
As Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of operational delivery across reactive maintenance works, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You will lead operational teams, oversee performance, and work closely with clients and stakeholders to continuously improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the delivery of responsive maintenance works across the contract
Oversee operational teams including supervisors, trades, and support functions
Ensure KPIs, SLAs, and customer satisfaction targets are consistently achieved
Drive productivity, performance, and continuous improvement across all workstreams
Manage budgets, resources, and programme delivery
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Ensure full compliance with health & safety and company standards
Support and develop a high-performing, engaged workforce
About You
We're looking for a strong operational leader with proven experience in social housing responsive maintenance.
Essential requirements:
Proven experience as an Operations Manager within responsive maintenance
Strong background in social housing
Experience managing high-volume, fast-paced maintenance contracts
Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
Ability to drive performance and improve service delivery
Full UK driving licence
