Bid Manager (f/m/d) for Surge Arresters

A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you are responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation of quotations for the global surge arrester market. Your proposals are based on customer-specific technical requirements, established product solutions, and applicable framework agreements.

You support both internal and external stakeholders by providing timely clarifications and ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the quotation process. In addition, you are responsible for the accurate processing and booking of customer orders, thereby ensuring a seamless transition from sales to execution.

Through your structured, process-oriented approach, you enable regional sales colleagues to further develop business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships. The quality, accuracy, and reliability of your work form the foundation for the efficient execution of downstream operational processes.

You collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization, actively engage with adjacent functions on complex topics, communicate transparently, and contribute to the continuous improvement of existing processes by constructively challenging established ways of working.

Your daily work is supported by SAP, including a powerful integrated configuration tool, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.

What You Bring

Advanced technical understanding of energy transmission and distribution components and applications

Strong commitment to professional development, continuous learning, and effective communication

Rapid comprehension of complex topics and proficiency in utilizing IT tools, including SAP and MS Office

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities within cross-functional and international environments

Proactive and committed working style, combined with a high level of adaptability and initiative
