Financial Controller (SGX Listed)

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Oversee financial accounting and management reporting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies.

Prepare and coordinate the annual statutory financial statements and related reporting requirements.

Review SGX quarterly announcements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.

Provide guidance and oversight to the Finance team in the preparation and submission of regulatory returns.

Establish, maintain, and enhance internal controls over financial systems and regulatory reporting processes.

Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and other professional advisors on audit and tax matters.

Review and ensure the timely and accurate filing of corporate tax returns and related tax submissions.

Build and maintain effective working relationships across the Finance team, business units, and external stakeholders to support reporting and compliance requirements.

Job Requirements

Degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA, or a related professional qualification.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Prior experience with a Big Four accounting firm and/or a Singapore Exchange (SGX)-listed company would be highly advantageous.

Experience within the real estate industry is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
