About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in Sitecore to join our dynamic team on contract basis for 6 months with potential extensions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building accessible, responsive, and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences using modern frontend technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend solutions within the Sitecore CMS environment Implement
• Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) and component-based architectures.
Ensure websites are fully accessible (WCAG 2.1+ compliance) and optimized for performance.
Utilize SASS/SCSS to create modular, reusable, and maintainable stylesheets.• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect and responsive designs.
Work with backend developers to integrate Sitecore APIs and services efficiently.
Optimize frontend code for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Advocate for and implement best practices in accessibility, usability, and frontend performance.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in frontend development with a focus on enterprise-level applications.
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Expertise in Sitecore CMS (preferably Sitecore 10+ and SXA experience).
Proficiency in SASS/SCSS and modular CSS methodologies (BEM, ITCSS, etc.).
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
Strong understanding of Web Accessibility Standards (WCAG 2.1+ and ARIA best practices).
Familiarity with performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, asset minification, etc.).• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration best practices.
Note: This role requires Australian Citizenship

Pay: $100.00 - $110.00 per hour
