Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Operation Finance Analyst, reporting to the Operation Finance Manager, you will support the Finance Operations team in monitoring the financial performance of the vessels and ensuring the reliability of operational financial information. Working with operations teams, you will contribute to reporting, financial analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
1. Operational performance monitoring
Prepare and consolidate financial data for both vessels
Support the monitoring of key financial and operational KPIs
Assist in the analysis of cruise performance across revenues and cost
Contribute to the preparation of management reports
Contribute to ad hoc analyses
2. Budgeting & forecasting
Consolidate operational assumptions received from business teams
Support the preparation of reforecasts
Perform variance analyses between actuals, budget and forecast
3. Finance systems & data quality
Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of financial data within the PMS and ERP
Contribute to improving data quality and reporting reliability
Participate in testing new functionalities and process enhancements
5. Financial processes & internal controls
Support monthly closing activities and accounting controls
Assist in documenting finance procedures and operational processes, contribute to internal control activities and follow-up of identified issues
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work with onboard finance officers and operational teams
Collaborate with Accounting, Reporting and other Finance functions
Contribute to cross-functional projects supporting Finance Operations
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Business School or equivalent)
0–2 years of experience (including internships/apprenticeships) in finance, audit, or controlling
Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
Analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excel skills
Good understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
Knowledge of ERP systems and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
Good communication skills
English mandatory
