Responsibilities

Develop and enhance scalable Java-based applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness

Design system architecture with a focus on microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud deployment using AWS and Azure

Collaborate within agile teams to plan, develop, test, and deploy new features following best practices in software engineering

Implement design patterns and system design principles to create maintainable and efficient codebases

Integrate front-end technologies such as JavaScript and React Express with back-end services for full-stack development

Manage version control using tools like GitHub, Git, SVN, and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment

Optimize systems for scalability and security using RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), Linux environments, and cloud services

Qualifications

Proven experience in application development using Java, C#, Python, C++, or similar languages

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including Linux servers, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and network protocols

Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or similar web frameworks is a plus

Knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, system design for system development, and scalability best practices

Experience working within Agile software development methodologies

Proficiency with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN along with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps

Hands-on experience with databases including MySQL and SQL Server; knowledge of database design is advantageous

Understanding of front-end development technologies such as JavaScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS3 is preferred

Exposure to software engineering principles including design patterns, scalable systems design, and secure coding practices

Familiarity with application security concepts like RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and API security measures

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
