Description:

The Product Manager for Front-End Experience plays a critical role in delivering a seamless, intuitive, and high performing digital experience across the iShopChangi (ISC) website and WeChat Mini Program (WCMP). This role manages the front-end product roadmap, drives feature enhancements, ensures UX consistency across platforms, and collaborates closely with Analytics, UX, Marketing, and Technology teams to optimise the conversion funnel.

This position requires strong product execution skills, user centric thinking, and the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Front-End Product Ownership

Manage the roadmap for front-end enhancements across ISC Web and WCMP, supporting continuous improvement of usability, design consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Prioritise product initiatives based on customer impact, business needs, and technical considerations.

Lead end-to-end delivery of front-end features, from scoping and requirements to testing and rollout, by partnering with UX, project managers, technical solution leads, QA.

Ensure a seamless and consistent user experience across both iShopChangi Web and WeChat Mini Program channels.

2. Customer Journey & Funnel Optimisation

Monitor and analyse the checkout funnel, identifying friction points and opportunities to improve conversion.

Collaborate with analytics teams to develop funnel dashboards and performance views.

Drive initiatives to improve add-to-cart, checkout initiation, and purchase behaviours.

3. Product Insights & Data Collaboration

Partner with Data/ Analytics teams to interpret customer behaviour, identify insights, and support data-informed decision-making.

Conduct independent analysis where required to validate assumptions or measure post launch performance.

Use tools like WeAnalytics, Adobe Analytics, and Customer Journey Analytics to validate hypotheses and understand user interactions.

4. Data-Layer Tracking & Measurement

Define tracking requirements for new features and customer interactions.

Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to ensure proper implementation and accurate measurement.

Support governance and quality checks for data-layer events and analytics tags.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing , UX, Customer Insights teams to ensure customer experience improvements align with brand, campaign goals, and customer needs.

Align with Tech, Project Managers, and QA to ensure smooth and timely product releases.

Communicate roadmap updates, requirements, and feature outcomes clearly to stakeholders.

6. Execution & Process Ownership

Prepare product requirements, acceptance criteria, and documentation for enhancements. Ensuring business requirements are translated into clear, structured technical specifications that Tech can easily understand and implement.

Manage and conduct UAT cycles for front-end features, ensuring accuracy and functionality before release.

Help streamline product processes and contribute to improving team ways-of-working.

Support other Product team priorities and initiatives as and when needed.

Job Requirements

1) Education / Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Digital Media, UX/HCI, or a related field.

Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) – written and spoken – to support WeChat Mini Program requirements and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Preferred:

Entry-level or intermediate Product Management / Product Owner certification (e.g. CSPO, PSPO, Product School, Pragmatic)

Formal or informal training in Digital analytics and UX / Design Thinking

Exposure to China digital ecosystem (WeChat Mini Programs, Chinese eCommerce platforms) is an advantage.

2) Years of Relevant Experience

3–5 years of experience in digital product management, product owner, or digital experience roles.

2+ years working on customer-facing web or mobile front-end products.

Hands-on experience collaborating with UX, engineering, QA, and analytics teams in an Agile or hybrid delivery environment.

Preferred:

Experience supporting eCommerce funnels (browse add-to-cart checkout payment).

Some exposure to tracking implementation, analytics tagging, or post-launch performance measurement.

Prior experience working on multi-channel products (e.g. web + app / mini program).
