Clinical Nurse Educator

Centre for Remote Education, Simulation & Training (CREST)

About the role

This Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) role will be part of the Centre for Rural Education Simulation and Training (CREST) Team in Western NSW LHD. The role will assist in upskilling nurses across a broad range of clinical proficiencies, delivering on-site education and training. With multiple permanent vacancies available, hours may be negotiable to support flexible work arrangements.

The CNE provides clinical education, training and evaluation of skills and knowledge to promote and support improved nursing care.

The role will work closely within the CREST Team alongside professional and encouraging staff who will provide the guidance and support you need to thrive in the role and provide clinical education and training to support nursing staff. Daily travel to rural and remote facilities will be required during working hours.

The successful candidate will be supported in the role with orientation, supernumerary time and a training buddy, with CNE training, development and study days available.
